Hi there!
I have a few questions about the Clio GTT conversion which i was wondering if someone could clear up. Basically, i may be able to get a cheapish GTT lump with gearbox and ancileries which i'm toying with getting my local garage to fit. Now, dropping the engine in etc shouldn't present an immediate problems but from the info i've seen there is a fair bit of rewiring to do to get the clocks in etc...which i beyond my garage.
Now, what i'd like to know is would it be possible to drop the engine in using the existing instrumentation and would it all work/mate up ok? It'd be going into a phase 3 and repalcing a 1.2 DIET engine.
Thanks in advance! |

main issue is theres a lot more wires coming out of the clio dash to the engine than on a gtt and the speedo on a gtt is electric due to the turbos location.
Its not to hard but then again i suppose its not the thing you can do at 5:30 at work then be home for the simpsons. |
