What's the cable that comes from under the carpet and attaches to the underneath of the front seats? How do you disconnect it if you want to take your seats out?

well it could be one of two things, heated seats which you would know about by the switches on the centre console or seatbelt pre-tensioners.
not really looked at mine but i would expect there is a plug under the seat, prolly just inside the seat, reach under and have a feel. |

ive noticed i gt the same connecter on my clio (non 16v) i havent gt heated seats or anythin fancy, havent even gt central locking lol |

its the seatbelt pretensioners. There is a little purple connector clipped up into the seat base, just squeeze it and disconnect the 2 halves. |
