I HAVE JUST NOTICED A HISSING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF MY 1999 1.6 CLIO`S ENGINE (K7M). IT ALSO SEEMS TO IDLE SLOW AND SOMETIMES IDLE`S FAST EVEN WHEN IT IS HOT. ANY IDEAS ANY ONE? |

Leaky exhaust, fuel pump maybe. Can't you be more specific in where it comes from?
And BTW turn off the caps mate that's f*cking anoying |

idle control valve, they are very crap design, its probably sticking, clean it as per my tech article in the knowledge base but you may find its just plain knackered. |
