I have an 'R' reg, 1998 Megane 1.6.
After changing the battery in one of my 'plip' keys it is no longer recognised by the car.
The local Renault dealer says that they can re-sync both keys in 30 minutes at a cost of £45 inc VAT.
Does anyone know of a DIY method please ? |

I found the Tech article at last, the only problem seems to be the code for the immobiliser - the servoce desk person at the Renault garage laughed when I mentioned it and said it was not possible to supply this. |

Dennis, my Renault dealer wanted £35 plus vat to tell me the key was faulty and another £80 to order a new key from Renault HQ in Betelguese by the cost. |
