i have a renault 19 1.8 RSI and im doing and engine rebuild for it because of its high milage, the engine iv got is out of a clio 1.8 RSI, is the power the same as the engine in my car and has the clio gearbox got a different gear ratio.

Engine =same, unless one is MPI and the other SPI |

SPI is 95 and the MPI is 113 bhp ,i believe |

box will have different ratios I would imagine.
Easy way to check is look at the tag on the box, if the number is the same then its the same. |

some twat has ripped it off so there is no way of being able to tell, so do you think i would be better off using the old box then |
