Rear discs on K698DBL are shagged but cleaned up pretty well with a wire brush on a drill.
Couldn't get those damn paper clip thingys back in properly (how importaint are they) and the brakes make a bit of a gratey sound now but have only done 2 miles in them.
Put some coper ease on the sliding pad and sorted out the sliders and piston looked good. Am assuming its just the shit on the disc (not surface rust, proper rot around the edges).

Doh - School boy error there with the anti-rattle shims. To be fair though they are a bitch to get back in so leaving them out would be good if it didn't have annoying side effects. Is this a new Chris we're seeing lately? He's being polite... give us the real Chris back. Now how do I do an engine swap |
