hi, can anyone help?
both the wires have come away from the alternator electrical connector on my valeo alternator and i dont know which way round to refit them.
the wires are red and yellow.
my car is a RENAULT ESPACE 2000-1
2.0 INJECTION F7R ENGINE
1990 H REGISTRATION

You should have one with a tracer, could be red but I have a black and white photo (Haynes manual).
Anyway looking from the back of the alternator, it is tracer left and other no tracer on the right. A13N129
If this does not help I will look at mine Tomorrow and let you know without the black and white issue. |

hi, i am not sure what is meant by a tracer. the colour code in my manual are not the same colour as on my car.
i have 2 wires, one is red and the other one is jellow.

no, the espace never had the F7R.
If its a 1990 then its the J7R, same as the 2.0 R21 |

the wires are 2 different sizes so you should only need to look to get them the right way round.
Also the wiring looms are different colours on the cars dependign on which wire they decided to use that day. |
