Not 100% sure on selling yet, just wondering what sort of offers people would make me on the car, and if any decent ones, would sell. I have an immaculate Renault 19 16V for sale. It is a dark blue colour, its bumper has just been resprayed. The car has been owned by a mechanic for most of its life and hence is in great conditon. All work been done on it, it has an immaculate leather interior, with 110k on the clock. All parts been changed over the years. I have recently had a 4.5 jap style powerflow exhaust put onto the car, going back to the cat back, and some brand new Fox Racing 17" rims with Toyoto low spec tyres. The car is such a smooth runner, also has a top notch alpine sound system in it including, 2 dash speakers, 4 door speakers, alpine 9835r head unit, 2 6x9's, 15" sub and 2 alpine amps, all professionally wired. would sell with or without sound system. maybe even open to a part exchange? what does everyone think? links below to pics will follow.
perfect paint work, no rust, minor scratches around door handle
pm me or make any offer?
Even if not interested, what sorta price would you put on a car like this? cheers

well how do we put it without pissing you off ?
£350 to £500 would be my price, depending on how much MOT or TAX it has which you don't mention.
Any other mods apart from the exhaust and wheels?
It looks to be in the same condition as mine and i paid £350 for it with 12 months mot and 6 months tax on her and tbh with you, members of this forum would prolly say the same sort of figure or lower.
There is simply too many of them around at the mo to fetch much money on them, ebay has something like 20 valvers on there at the mo.
my 19

Just seen your ebay advert matey.
AT LAST, someone else who understands the concept of writing a decent listing for things they want to sell, rather than a 2 line, badly worded, mispelt mess accompanied by a couple of tiny crap blurry pictures.
I know from experience that writing a good, well presented listing adds £££ to the auction value of things.
Should fetch a relatively decent price, but have you tried putting for sale signs in its windows with a slightly more optimistic price on them? I've seen lots of cars sell for very good money by being sat on the drive with signs in the windows. A lot of people aren't very net-savvy and aren't aware of £300 examples on ebay and other places on the net, only the £1000-£1500 ones in the autotrader... |
