Hehe that’ll be going soon my friend, once the car is mot’d and taxed it’ll be taking a trip to the bodyshop to get cut welded and sprayed! White is best! |

I agree, white is best, my boy 16 going on21 wants the bottom half (up to the grey line) in Williams blue, ok for him, but i have to drive it to work.
Soon as i get a bit of spare time i'll cut out the rust and mig in some new metal. Brushed in some "kill Rust" for now.
Right, now the question....The plastic/rubber mouldings round the door glass, the rotten ones! where and how much, any idea?
Still have no battery's for camera... must remember....senial.... |

The window surrounds are about 300 quid for a full set from renault!!
If they were decent money they'd sell hundreds! |

Yeah I really need to take mine off and clean them out, they have started to bubble a bit! Need to keep my eye open in the scrappies me thinks… |

£300 , i only paid 200 quid for the car, them window surounds can bubble some moor!
Must be another solution out there? I'll have to take a closer look at them.

I think everyone who owns a r19 thats six years old or over will have window surrounds on thier list of "things i would really like to get" i know mines are frier tucked, in fact ive just let a better set than mine go ( havent i george ) but £300 thats just rickydoodlearse they geezers at renault should all be wearing masks. |

how do you change them? didnt know they came off, thought they were part of the dorr or something...well never thought about it actually til now...although mine are bubbly too... |

They literarily just fall pull off, you don’t need to take the glass off…
…dunno mark mine are a bit done in as well! A lot of moss behind them that needs cleaned… |

they pull off.
On 5 doors the back door vertical bit that holds the 1/4 light in rusts under the rubber. Take it out, clean it up de-rust then paint it and put the cleaned rubber back on, looks perfect and will be totally flat again.
The rubbers around the window and the sill bit are a pain to not bend. |
