I'm making this request on behalf of the Retro Car Club (RCC).
They are looking for Retro-cars to have on their stand at the upcoming Retro Car Show which takes place on July 3rd at Santa Pod Raceway. As the club is only a month or two old, there aren't that many members yet so a little outside support would be welcomed.
Entry to the event will cost just £7 to everybody who books an advanced ticket through the event organiser over on the RCC website, the relevant thread can be viewed here.
The RCC will be having a marquee along with a barbecue. In addition their will be plenty to see and do at the show itself so the event promises to be quite good - visit this link to find out what'll be happening.
Any retro car can be shown on the RCC stand, as long as it is pre-90's (early 90's cars allowed at organisers' discretion). As far as Renaults go, this stipulation pretty much rules out all cars designated with a name - so Clios/Lagunas/Meganes etc are no-go. All Renaults designated with a number, e.g 5/11/19/21/25 will be fine. Cars do not need to be in tip-top show condition either, so don't worry if you have the odd scratch here and there.
Also, time is running out for the event you need to be quick. The organiser has set a deadline of 9pm tonight for all interested persons to sign up - so head over to RCC, sign up and get your names down!
Thanks guys! |
