OK, the next thing on my ideas list is to rob the electric window system from a higher model and fit it to the clio. (i've got too much free time and it should make it sell quicker when the time comes)
What models have electrics? What bits do i need to nick? I've seen the motors on ebay for about 20 quid a side, but will they match up to the manual door mechanism? (same door for manual and electrics?)
Apart from the motors, what else do i need? I'm assuming the switches can be fudged (nicely) into the dash somewhere, but is there any circuitry involved, or are they plain "straight to the motor" units?

RT's etc had leccy windows and central locking.
you need to get the door looms and the window regulators. also get the central lockign motors.
The dashg should have the wiring there for the central locking switch (down by tht e gearlever) but the window switches are in the doors iirc.
pop the door open and pull out the rubber grommet, there shoudl be a large plug in there, which is for the door loom.
you have to take the door pocket thingies as well, plus you get door speaker if you don;t already have them. |

The loom to the door is always the same right?
Only the loom inside the door can be different? |
