right wel if youve read my progress report, you'll know my car failed miserably on its mot. Im not worried about all the other stuff, as thats minor, im just worried that its new rack time!
are the ball joints on the end of the rack adjustable, replaceable, or isit a new rack needed?
its only the drivers side thats doing it, or is there a way of bodging it up for the mot?until i can afford a new rack. |

what exactly ids the problem?
A loose inner balljoint? juts buy a new one then fit it. Abotu a 1/4 of the price of a new rack and a lot less hassle! |

the test sheet says excessive play at rack end, on drivers side, ive pulled the boot off, and had a gander and the ball is moving around to much in it, its moving the wheel upto about an inch. |
