they will bolt on but thats not classed as fitting in my book!

right so you are saying there will be problems .

just keeping an eye on for alloys for a mate of mine that drives a rover 420 ,any idea what other wheels can i search for then?

they will go on but the offset is wrong.

rover, vaux wheels will go on a ren and vice versa.

i got that but wil he be having troubles after driving for a while ?

i personally am a big fan of original alloys but looking at rover range ,i dont think any of them look special to be honest ,thats the only reason i was looking for alloys from a different make

A lot of early Honda wheels also fit, but offset likely to be different and not too sure about central bores.

If you go on www.rochfordtyres.co.uk I'm sure they have a complete rundown of all the fitment details for most cars.

they used to, but they took it down because everyone and his dog was linking to it as a reference guide to wheel fitments Rolling Eyes

ah but not like it was before, with a big list on one page, was much easier to see which cars were the same fitment that way.

I used to have the Max Power/Haynes manual for Modifying Embarassed

As terrible as it was they did give a list of everything on one page. If memory serves alloys for a Daihatsu Charade GTti will fit as well!

Even some old Nissan's wheels will fit.

that site does not help at all ,it only tells you the fitment for the wheels they sell Crying or Very sad
what about vw,audi ,bmw wheels ??? is not there another wheel exactly the same fitment as a renault on the planet ??? Mad
