a friend of mine from turkey is after a lpg conversion set for his 1999 range rover 4.6 hse , was wondering if chris h (the wise scottish man) or any others would have any idea where i can find a nice and cheap multi point injection lpg set ???

you struggle to get anythign LPG on a diy basis these days.

You could get the crap systems everywhere a while back, you can still get them and you can also get the decent MPI set up sbut you have to go to lpg comapnies to get them.

i know what you mean ,i managed to find a few comapnies selling the whole kit inc the lpg tank etc . but the question is ,will a turkish mechanic be able to fit the fucker,over here you would have it fitted professionally
may be i shall just tell him to save his money for the fuel instead

the problem is ,he is fecking pilot and is bit determined fecker though , i am pretty sure he will come up with the idea of flying the range rover over to uk and have it fitted over here

too much hassle,i will try an convince him to buy a nova instead Laughing

its a pain in the arse to fit, I helped do a few years back, drilling the filler, the vents etc.

main problem to me is losing boot space!

I would have thought if he can get LPG in Turkey then he can get the kit fitted???

fitted one of these to me mates lightweight bodied range rover chassis hybrid the other year (you wanna see this thing its a beast lol)

he got a kit, came complete with evrything....was fairly easy to fit too.will ask him where he got it

he opted for the underbody tank. other guy i know with a range rover has smaller twin tanks behind the runner boards

i am still after a lpg kit ,its a bloody pain in the ass for some reason the price differences between companies are huge . would appreciate it so much if you could ask him where he got this kit from .
