cleaning up the megane head, need to get it spiffing, I still have to port the exhaust side, and collect the valves and do the chambers.
Couldn't get the valves earlier cos everywhere is shut down due to the G8 etc!
Using stuff called aquawash 100+ to clean. Its ferking amazing, simon gave me a jar full of it, its the best detergent I have ever used.
I sent pics to JB to get uploaded, when they are done I'll stick em up. Done the exhaust cam carrier. |

Haven't done half the stuff i needed to do, working on the things that involve being indoors at the moment. It's raining outside, i usually like the rain but only if its pissing down. At the moment its just crappy indecisive rain. |

got some new bits thru the post...
thats a brand new fuel level sender (random ebay'ing) and another clutch cable...i got two spare now...keep one in the boot at all times!
while im posting pics...
garage getting a bit messy...i can still get in and to the back tho so still ok
went to cornwall this weekend to visit my son, stayed with them a few days. lovely part of the country, i could live there...anyway, one day we went to some theme park and they had cool exhibits, like a construction of a victorian street, like you are really there kinda thing, and a set up of a street during WW2...cool...
lots of aircraft history as well....i liked this big cutaway of some turbo-prop type engine....twin turbines, powering opposed props...very cool considering the age of it..the plane it was on was ridiculous, so fat and short and big, how it ever flew ill never know.

Back on an oil rig for another 2 weeks just finished a few hours work and going back out after 0100hrs for another few hours, then spend allday tomorrow in bed, so by the time the 2 weeks is up my body clock is totally fooked lol
not done much to 21t latly as been to busy with work, although i did give it a well deserved wax the other day and got a 14yr old brake pipe replaced after it spewed the contents of the brake reserviour over the main road, thats the 1st time iv had to call the AA to it so cant complain.
Wheel is looking good Shacks |

Yeah im on one at the moment, not to sure what the policy is on taking photo's JB, there are alot of strange rules on these things ....must use handrails at all times, coffee cups must have lids on them, mobile phones are not allowed to be switched on for your 2 week shift (which is great for my phone bill though my bill was only £20 last month )
i will find out though |
