check the cam timing and do a compression test. the valves mite be tickling the pistons, so check the timing. a weak compression on one of the cylinders could mean a valve problem.

make sure the thing turns over easily by hand with the plugs out. If it doesn't then theres something wrong, be it pistons hitting the valves or a spun bearing.
The make sure the timign is bang on. |
