in the last couple of days the steering on the 19 has got heavier and a very slight shake between 30-40 mph..fluid is topd up.
Thing is its eaten 2 ball joints in a year,1 which only lasted 6months. is it early stagesof the ball joint being feckd again or sumt else.like the suspension?
oh and when putting me foot down it sometimes pulls to the left??

If it's pulling to one direction check your tracking, and that the brake calipers are not seized and free to move. Might also be worth checking that the brake discs are mounted flush with the hub! |

When mine was pulling to the left (when I bought it!) it turned out after 5 trips back to the garage that it was the suspension bush that was knackered! |

thats what im thinking lindsey- suspension related as iv had numerous things done and checkd but never seem to locate the problem...on the other hand its been behaving itself today
had a nosey today but nothing |

yeah JB checkd pressure all fine..it sounds weird but it only seems "heavy" on the passenger side and my steering is off centre |

look in the hole at the top of the shock tower under the bonnet.
The plate bolted to the underside of that which the top of the shock is attached to is the top mount. Normally you will see a crack halfway round the nut that holds the shock on. |

yeah the nut will be fine, but the area of plate around it may be cracked... |
