Hi guys,
Have just changed the water pump (don't ask! )
I removed the alternator and disconnected all the cables and put it all back afterwards.
BUT
The Rev counter has stopped working. Where's the cable in the engine bay?
Any Ideas
Cheers

not on a TD it aint.
Looketh to thy alternator connections, for that is the location of the divine and righteous speedo signal. Thou hath buggered the connections. Go now my son, and make haste. |

Look for the wihte wire going to the back of the alt, usually in the middle of the two + - ones. Take it off and either clean up or replace the O connector. |

The actual nut in the alternator had come loose so tightened it up and re-tightened the bolt and hey presto!
Cheers Guys! |
