Does 17 inch wheels fit a p1 chammy without fixing the wheel-archs? If not, what do you have to do to make them fit? I have only 15" today and that seem to small, 17 would fill up much better |

they fit no bother, so do 18's.
I ran the 1.4 about with 17's on the rear lowered about 50mm and it was fine. |

how do I strengthen the rear suspension? I think it's a bit sloppy. The fornt is easy it's just to exchange the springs and dampers, but in the rear there are those torsionbars, do I need to replace them or is it possible to just strengthen them without altering with the ride-height?
One more thing.. what dimension did u have on the 17" tyres? is it possible to go with 205x40 or canu go wider/thicker(?)? |

205 40's is what I ran. Got fed up of the 17's, look great, handles better, the alloys bend on potholes etc.
So i run the 15's.
The rear can't be strengthened, get new shockers as yours are probably knackered. |
