Car Boot

In the space of less than hour last night i managed to find enough crap (i mean sellable items) to warrant a trip to the local car boot sale this morning.

Items included 116 videos (of which 56 sold!!), speakers, few games and cds etc etc. Was there with my mate (who had her own stuff) for 4 hours and i came home with Â£68.70 in my pocket. And that Â£68.70 included the money i deducted for my a) breakfast b) loose change c) payment for the stall space

So all in all not a bad mornings work Very Happy

Equates to about Â£17 an hour Laughing

yeah not bad, Amber used to do em and she fancies doing another one.

Sometimes we go for a wander round the various markets etc, a good way to waste a few hours and cash as well.

Good way to clear clutter and you don't need to wait as week for it to sell on e-bay!

Bargain, we used to do them, and have enough crap in our house to fill a skip, so it might be time for another! with the good weather and all!

i luv car boot sales, there's always a huge one just down the road from me, great for picking up all sorts of tools and stuff.

Yeah car boots are ace for tools.

Power tools you obviously take your chances but I got a proper Makita power drill a few years back for Â£2, no guarantees it was working.... it did, and is still going strong. On that basis I am happy to take a risk on them.

of course u get shitty new tools like Â£1 for 20 spanners made of plastic, but there are tons of ppl clearing out their garages with old stuff, that just doesn't break after years of use.

and of course best place to buy lighters.....10 for a Â£1
