Re-arranged the ignition sequence and she fired up first time.
Only problem is that smoke starting coming out of the exhaust maniford.
The botls are torqued up to the correct setting but the smoke still comes out.
Is this a problem or is it the exhaust maniford gasket melting?
Thanks for the help. |

probably just oil burning off I assume you sprayed wd-40 on the thing before undoing the nuts and maybe put oil/grease on the studs afterwards?
btw which order was correct? Mine or the others on cliosports? |

the gasket goes with the metal side to the exhaust manifold, the gasket cardy side to the head face. |

i'm not sure what type of smoke it is to be honest. It just looks dodgy.
Will take a vid of it when i get home.
Should this be happening after running the engine for 20mins? |

mine didnt stop for ages, was just the grease burning off
take it for a drive, pop the bonnet and it would pour out.
about 20 miles of driving later, it stoped. |

you should be able to tell what it is, oil burning off smells bad, and as roger said it will take ages to get rid of |
