Right, I got the good news last night that my brother's Dolomite is alive and well, well, nearly!

He's noticed one problem with the twin carburettors on it though. The bowl on the carburettor nearest the front of the car fills with fuel whenever the car is put under load and at higher revs.

At idle the carbs are fine, and the cars covered hardly any distance since the carbs were balanced.

Any help appreciated.

fills and pours out? Could be a dodgy float valve, also is the other carbgettign enough juice in its bowl? The link pipes can collapse internally which is ok at idle but higher speeds it runs dry.

bet its the float valve, wip the top off and float off (held on by a pin) and the valve should slide out, give it a blast of air and try it again
if no luck your need a new one, not expensive
try www.su-carbs.co.uk

lost count the amount of times ive had that happen
