Am thinking of buying a kit car in the next couple of months.
As I have a perfectly good F7P engine in my chamade (which I am replacing anyway) I was thinking of bastardising the car. Engine, seats etc.
Just wondered whether there was a suitable renault gearbox to use to be able to use the sierra propshaft and diff?
Or could I get a bell housing that mated say a ford type-9 box to the renault engine?
Thanks for any advice. |

i would convert the rear to a live axle, then use a celica box, cheap, and bombproof, im sure you can adapt the box to fit. |

the 25 was fwd!
The F7P engine isn't that good and theres far better engines to use for rwd conversions. On the coupe club some russion guy has made a 2l megane lump go into some rwd car. |
