how do i get the gearknob off of the stick? cant seem to move it...and id rather not put too much force into it at present incase i break something!
1.9td by the way, with lift up reverse

jus lift it up and try turning it .it will come off in the end . |

I had the same trouble as you william. I ended up sawing mine off lol. Not sure if there is a 'proper' way to get them off, but I wasn't planning on keeping the old gear knob so I didn't really care how I got it off! |

Mine was a wrench and a hammer. Has yours gone the same as mine, when you change gear and the knob comes off in your hand??? |

I got a td and the way I took mine off was by slicing it down the middle with a stanley knife. Piece of piss. That's as far as my knowledge goes on here! lol |

No No I meant the actual ger knob rubber coming off, the stalk was still attached to the gear lever and needed a wrench to twist it off. |

no ,its just the knob that comes of thats how people can fit chavy ,ledded gear knobs on there |
