hi all
i have an lreg phase 2 hatch, r19 16v, does anyone know if the gemini immobiliser on it is factory fitted or was it put on seperate???
The reason i ask is because the key fob will not de-actvate the immobiliser so i cannot get the bloody thing to start. It is currently stranded on a ramp at an mot station  . The bloke there suggested i get an autoelectrician to remove the immob + alarm to get it running again?? The autoelectrician needs to know if it was factory fitted or put on after.
The battery in the fob is ok, as the fob lights, battery power is ok as its been tested so i presume the sensor inside the car is knacked. Their is a key on the immob but turning it does nothing. Do all the sensors have to be in contact to reset the immob as the passenger window is fully down and cannot be put back up at present as cant get it started?
If anyone has got any ideas i would be VERY grateful
