well, last night, my mums car, 2 trailers, and the caravan all got broken into. 2 lawn mowers, a 7" roof mounted screen, 30 odd cd's, a brand new bike, tv vcr combo, table saw, all got stolen, to name a few things!
didnt even wake the dogs, so the window was done with a well known tool. im sure most will also know the method. i wont name it, just in case! |

mum was in tears, especially as my sister had a party of 14 odd 13-14 yr old, 2 of them saw 2 head lights stopped outside, but as is to be expected they didnt think anything of it, it was about 3ish in the morning, and even more annoyingly i was awake at about 250 and couldnt sleep because i had a bad feeling about something, was gunna go down and check on all the kids, and i would have seen the headlights on my way back up the garden. |

seems strange, they break into a 93 ford maverick, yet, theres a 2001 clio parked just infront of it, and was untouched! |

I'm betting they were thinking "which one is more likely to have an alarm on it?" |

both had an alarm, just the mavericks kept going off, for no reason so she turned it down, and it was going off all night, just no one heard it. i went down the garden this morning to turn the pool heater and pump on, was walking up the garden and realised the rear door was wide open. |

I mind a few years back Paul Mitchell (of infinicar) had his grandads farm etc broken into a few times, he got a van and all his mates sat in it and waited, and waited, eventually they came, they jumped out kicked the crap out of them then phoned the police. Of course the burglars fell nobody touched them etc.
But they were pikeys that had just came to the area and were doing everyone they could. |

we all love vigilante stories though don’t we. I remember one about the guy who owns Midland Helicopters, a big place where I used to get all my RC heli stuff from. They got done over by some little scrote. Apparently they found out who he was, and pushed him out of a fast moving car. |

well ive welded up my own defence items, mainly as a deterrant. a 1.5ft chain with 2 1/2ft 1" solid bar on each ends.
hehehe, hope its not needed to be used, mainly seeing them should scare people, but it'll be a case of crack it round the legs, watch um fall then call the police. |
