I've managed to lose one off my TD today. I actually lost two, as half way home from my parents I heard a BANG and saw something flying out from under the car. I stopped and noticed the pully had lost two bolts and was moving all over the place making a lovely noise. I managed to find one bolt about 200m up the road, got it back on the pully so the pully rotated properly, but I'm still missing one bolt.
Can I get one from my local spares dealer or is it a Renault only part??
Cheers Guys |

yeah 13mm, don;t worry mate, this is surprisingly common.
I had a mondeo in a few months back that this happened, on, threw the belt etx, only 1 8mm bolt left holding the pulley, on I just used whatever was handy.
Anyway yes you can buy them from renault but if you go to a scrappies and get a nice easy to access 13mm it might go without catchign if not cut a bit off it. |

Thank you Chris. Will go have a look today.
Out of curiosity. How much is one from Renault, just incase I can't find one elsewhere? |
