yes thats it, or more to the point thats mine!

It bolts to a bracket on the starter and engine block, fromt he top.

fecky that ,how many bolts and where ?

i want to make my own as i cant seem to be sourcing one and the problem is there whenever the car is hot

3 10mm

its a complex shape and staggered as well, also its right up close to the manifold so it has tpo be a good insulator.

i might as well stick a post up in items wanted section to see if anybody has 1 in good condition.

you said i could source it of the 1.8 rt as well ,what other cars have the same heat shield chris any idea mate?

all f series engine cars.

so 1.7's (incl diesels) upwards in the clio/19/21 (1.7 only)/meg 16V etc
