I mind when I last sat my test 3 fucking times I had to sit it then he only passed me cos he felt sorry for me. Had lessons and everything!
When I was 17 not a single lesson went out passed!
I don't know how your meant to drive tbh to pass, not safely anyway. |

That's true. When I passed my test 1st time I was shown my test sheet. I had three minors . But one of them was for over use of braking. Apparently when I was going onto a roundabout I "braked too excessivly!". I informed the tester that if I hadn;t slammed on my anchors I would have plowed into then Scooby that came out of nowhere and flew round the roundabout at 50mph!!! He didn't agree, but I wasn't going to agrue
I wouldn't worry about it. You'll do fine bud |

My driving test lasted only 20 minutes, including the theory. Ahhh the good old days. |

know a boy in the army, the teser was retiring, he drove him round to tyhe tea room and bought him a scone and tea and he got a pass!
My mate Paul managed to do 80 on a dual carriageway and not fail, his test was only 15mins as well. |

My test lasted about 30 minutes. He took me down a lane I'd never been down before so I had to keep asking him where to go
Also driving out of the test centre I had 3 other cars behind me all watching me pull out. But passed first time so that's cool
Sure you'll be fine Dan. Watch out for Combine Harvesters though |

Good luck Dan. I sat my test 4 times! Unfortunately the first two times were in Bathgate just when they were having a crack down on young drivers because there had been a spate of accidents on a local road! The third time my nerves got the better of me and the fourth time I was shaking like a leaf (even tho I was sedated!), foot slipped off the clutch pulling out of the test centre then it started really chucking it down, hard, heavy rain which lasted the duration of my test. The tester told me the only reason I got away with the foot slipping incident was because I put the car in neutral, applied the handbrake and adjusted the seat and mat on the floor! Still I passed finally despite everything! Did it in my dad's ancient Pug 309 Diesel estate too!
Try to relax for the test itself, I was overconfident the first time, but a nervous wreck by the fourth! |

Good luck mate!
I'm sure you won't need it.
I remember on my test, my instuctor wanted to come with me, but i had somebody else examining the examiner.
Double pressure
When the person examining me asked me to pull over and do a turn in the road i said no.
This was on a hill just below the brow so i refused and said i didn't think it was safe to do such a maneuver there and carried on driving until i saw a good spot.
He also tried to pressure me into overtaking a milk float in a dangerous place, so again i said i didn't think it was safe and carried on.
You could tell he was pissed off, but at the end of the day it's the drivers decision to make, not his.
I passed first time
Don't forget to put on your green P plates once you've passed |
