To make my car run a bit better? I've done the usual, oil/filter change, fuel filter change, air filter change. Now what else can I do? After 100k+ miles there must be somthing? Its a 1.9TD btw.... |

On the other hand its a high mileage diesel lump so its bound to be worn. you done the box oil? |

Box oil is just over 12 months old, did it when I slapped the replacement engine in. Thinking of replacing balls joints and trackrods, the steering feels fairly sloppy, no play or anything, just sloppy....if you know what I mean.
Have been thinking of trying to get a 1.9 DTI engine from a megane. Their almost identical aren't they apart from the DTI's being a lot younger engine.... |

I have to say they do get to the stage where they are floppy, th eblue chammy, I fitted new rack, 16V rear axle, wishbonmes etc etc,m just never felt sharp, I reckon it was the years of hard use the shell endured. |
