I dunno, I woudl imagien un-recorded, doesn't matter its not a bentley is it!
Its a tiny kink but its crap like that which anoys me. I will try and pull it out.
I have had to remove the handbrake lever, that was fun! still now I can work on it.
The nuts are both locked together solid and they are right at the end of the thread it was as tight as it will go!
So I am abotu to wire brush the threads, run a decent nut up and down it and I will probably end up just angl;e grindign the old nuts off and just using new nuts on it. |

No not a bentley however you have to declare to your insurance if you know. (not a biggy though mate)
I can't get the rear hub nut off. Ive been stood on the breaker bar jumping up and down and it won't give an inch! I found that the flange on the disc around the nut is broken but I'll get new discs put on at some point and the garage can undo the fucker
So I've got to do the break the slightly more awekward way |

remember lefty loosey!
Not many bangs get recorded tbh. I have fixed/sold/bought loads that havbe been smacked but never recorded, load of shite, wait months to get it fixed then its no better. Have a smash get 500 quid fix it jobs done.
Anyway that was probably done maybe 1999 or so, its been off the road since 2001.
If it was recorded then it wasn't repaired through the insurance.
Its been through 3 registered keeps since anyway, I'm the latest.
Handbrakes sorted at last. |

leave it alone!?!
its common for the bracket to fall apart and you will probably need new clips. Unless its been done recently then it shoudl be ok.
Handbrakes sorted, the cats sealed properly, its a lot quieter now. Much better. |

I'll leave it for some one else to do then.
I'll have a play with the hub
How Can I re-thread the wheel nuts? |

the bolts? don't use other ones.
I have just spent a good while dicking around with the white chammys engine.
I have mixed and matched injectors so I have 100% undamaged ones on there now.
Running like a dream! No stumbling etc, fan fecking tastic, that means I get to keep my good engine, although last time I looked I tilted it and a load of condensation poured out from everywhere!#
Box is getting worse though. I'll need to take it round the block at some point.
Well chuffed now. |
