can anyone tell me the easiest way of taking off a standard exhaust without causing any damage.
managed to locate a valver but its gona be a bich takin it off thers a car infront, a car behind it and one on either side
Any 'special' tools required?? |

13mm nuts, the backbox will be easy as with luck the studs will shear.
the cat mid section might be tricky.
the downpipe - cat will be a bastard. |

nice one chris im only after the back box so fingers crossed it wont be too bad!! what about the rubber mountings..do i just rag them off? |

yeah the rubbers can be difficult, the exhausy rusts and swells up in/around them so a chop is the way sometimes. |

yep as chris said bit of a basterd to get em off so had to chop em...
i was jus wandering where to get the rubbers from for the standrd BB, the ones that are on at the moment are completly different.
can you pick em up from local motor factors or is it a reno job? |

Finally...the box is on sounds looooaaads quieter now ..eventho only the box is standardr the rest is stainless steel to the cat.. |
