i have just bought a R19 1.4 5dr for work and back, i also own a williams 3 for track use, main thing i want to know is, is the std R19 front suspension same as the R19 16v and williams? just i have some decent williams shockers and uprated springs from my old track set up and may stick them on the R19 if they fit?

19 16v suspention will fit.
I did it to both of my 1.4's when I had them  |

19 susp is the same as a williams as well is it? |

the non 16v 19 legs are different in stiffnes to the 16v one but they can be swapped nicely as i do have 2 different front legs on my 16v.
as far as i know the 16v spring is different to non 16v one as well
plus i never knew r19 suspension would fit the clio ,are you sure docs  |

Good point there Shacks, maybe I should read properly first  , however the info I have given is correct.

19 16V will fit all other 19's, stiffness is different but as long as you put both struts on there won't be any problems.

You dont have to change the shafts or the bottom arms to change the struts. |

been driving it today for first time! its like a jelly lol think i need to sort soemthing out, although its only my work car so i shoudnt!! got the williams for fun!! |
