Hi all, this is my first post here so i'll kick off with a problem i've got typical eh?
Weekend before last I bought a 92 clio 1.8 16v
Basically turning the steering wheel causes a creaking noise especially when stationary or moving slowly but doesnt notice at speed. When I got it I noticed a hole in one of the steering gaiters which ive had replaced but no difference. Could this have screwed the rack? Got someone to turn the wheel while i listened by front wheel arch and the sound was louder. There is a litte play in the steering but from reading other posts here i think that is probably the steering colomn. Thanks for any help
