I have had the car serviced and the valves ajusted and and for a month or two it was running quietly.
Now, once again it's started to go click click click
How is this noise comming back? Is there something I can have changed to stop the tappets from making that noise and make the engine run quietly again for a longer time?

any help would be great |

get the rocker shaft and the rockers off and look at the rocker popints, if they have a cross worn in then then they will go out of adjustment due to a groove beign worn into it. |

77 00 739 371 ROCKER SHAFT R19 42.24 ---3 x 1
77 00 741 571 CAMSHAFT R19 285.20 ---3 x 1
77 01 470 961 ROCKER ARM R5 46.77 ---3 x 1
You need 8 rockers as well, so thats £374 then add the cam and rocker shaft, thats £701.60, then add VAT....
£824.38, you need to add in cambelt and labour after that as well. |

I stuck some of that wynns stuff in it's made it slightly quieter, but not enough to get rid of it
I will just leave it, I am not paying out that when I could just get a 16v in January and never have that shitty noise again |
