got an 89 RENAULT 25 V6 TURBO,will you lot let me in???

not sure if this is the type of renault you want on the forum,but there isn,t many left,or many forums for them??hope its ok,it does have a 2.5 v6 turbo,manual box,stunning condition,pity i can,t post pics!!pump up seats,never smoked in,full history etc,big old badge,any others about on here?

its got all the toys,a/c(works)pas/ABS,electic windows(all 4)electric tailgate shutting,electic sunroof,c/l,alloys,discs all round,trip computor,electric/heated mirrors,electric seats,memory seats,has the mega rare ergomatic seats,pumps up various parts of the seats,fully loaded,original complete bookpack,spare keys,mats,running gear is the Z7U engine with manual(all turbos where)UN1 box,almost identical set up as the GTA,i love this car,never driven in rain,stunning condition,all this,and it speaks to me!,if i move it with the tailgate/bonnet/door open it goes into panic mode,DOOR NOT SHUT,BOOT NOT SHUT,BONNET NOT SHUT!!all this for under Â£1000,not bad??,its around 200bhp(boost set at 14 psi,11 standard)nice old motor for 1989(one of the last)

i haven,t got a f**king clue!!!i,ve got the camera etc,but need to get it all rigged up!!!going to paris on monday,so might stand a chance of seeing one or two there,maybe a mega rare estate!!if someone else can post a turbo pic,please do it for me!!!,its got the massive stereo,with the graphic sliders,very old skool renault!

and its got this badge on the boot,yellow/silver,been told it was a renault sports centre badge,its from renault birmingham from new(renault uk owned)anyone else have this badge,only on gta,s i think??

thanks for the welcome,the turbo is a right old rare beast,didn,t sell that many new,very few still exist now.

Great car mate, iv had 2 R25's myself, my 1st one was a Ph1 2.2 GTX in silver, and the 2nd one was a 1989 model 2.7 V6 Turbo automatic which was fully loaded with everything you could think of, the only reason i got rid of it was because i used to travel a lot of miles in it and the MPG was bordering on taking the piss Shocked

even travelling at a steady 60mph i could not get 30mpg out of her, i think my average was about 22mpg Crying or Very sad

but apart from that it was a cracking motor,

the 2.2GTX was easier to live with and still quick, it was a 4 cylinder and i could get 50mpg out of it, my mates use to love getting lifts in it, they used to say the dashboard was like the cockpit of a plane Laughing

and they thought the talking computer was real cool Laughing

iv always regretted selling the 2.2 one Sad

there is an R25 2.9V6 turbo for sale in Aberdeen just now, the guy wants Â£150 for it Shocked

no tax or MOT but the seller says she is in good condition.

But yeah you've got a rare beast there, is yours the 2.7 or 2.9 one ? from what you say she sound's like a 2.9 !! she would look cool on a set of 17" Cool

When you can you will need to get some photo's of her posted, be good to see it,

iv left the boost in my 21 turbo standard 13.2psi, people keep telling to turn it up to 16-17psi but im not to keen lol Laughing

she's quick enough i say Very Happy

not being picky rod,but EVERY turbo 25 is 2.498cc!!!,the 2.7/2.9 is N/A,not turbo,and you couldn,t buy a turbo auto,or have cruise control,great to here theres other 25 owners!same engine(almost)as the GTA,

roddy had my pre release 87 21 turbo on 18 psi,really went well,no more than this though!!you will be sent through the screen!i,ve wound my 25 T up to 14 psi,pulls well,the dump valve is loud!!!
