Ok, where do i start...
I decided about 2 months ago i could either sell my 19 or make it into somethin a little bit special. Figurin that the car was worth fuck all to anyone except me (and the fact i had very little money ) makin it in somethin different seemed like the best idea.
The thoughts of a turbo'd 19 proved too much and thats what i decided. After some lookin on this wonderful thing they call 'the net' i found Fastchip. Who just happen to make a kit for VERY reasonable money.
To cut a long story short, lots of mails came from/went to Henk at Fastchip and the cash was paid...

200Kpa Map Sensor
Oil return lines for the turbo

Here's a pic of me engine (upside down with sump removed)
Here's one of me gearbox, i'll have to give that a clean before it goes back in!
Here's the head after strippin it down, that'll be gettin a good clean to get all the carbon off

Had a few days off for paddy's day
A few more pics of my poor engine
Here's my bare block, i'm gonna sand it down and paint it
Four bloody holes in me block, i'll have to get them sorted!
The head cleaned up well, grindin in the valves here.
One of me pistons and rods, i have to get the pistons machined to lower the compression ratio
My crank, everythin is in surprisingly good condition

Haven't done alot lately, we've just been cleanin up a few bits and pieces
I sanded and painted the block while it was stripped
Managed to get the bastard gearbox split too, that was a pain in the arse
I'm gettin worried about these bits that are lyin around, if you can identify any of them please do tell!

As you can see by the dates in the above post there has been a big delay in the project!
We are slowly gettin back on track and work should resume shortly. |

Biggest change in plan now is the addition of a Pace Charge-Cooler instead of the supplied intercooler, pics to follow shortly.
I chose a charge-cooler because its is better suited to the short sprint driving i do. It doesn't need a steady flow of air to keep the charge temps down like an intercooler |

Sadly this project is to come to an end.
I'm selling off the bits that i have so if you take a look in the for sale section you might see somethin of interest.
Its been one hell of a year since if started at it and i would've loved more than anything to have got it finished but its gone on too long and i've decided rather than spend more money on trying to finish it i'll try and get back some of what i put into it and start afresh.
I know it seems like i'm giving up right at the end but to be honest i just can't face it anymore.

So far i've taken my leather seats, carkits, xrd, headlights, drivers window regulator, grille and front koni's off.
I would have taken the rear koni's out but i need to put some standard ones in there place, it started rainin just after i took the front shocks out of my scraped diesel 19 was didn't bother with the rears.
I still want to get the wishbones and front disks (black diamond) off but since i need to keep the car mobile for the time being they'll have to say on |

Car is bein scraped tomorrow so had to take the rest of the stuff off. Namely the exhaust, front hubs, wheels and dash clocks.
Due to an error in calculations i managed to crush an axle stand
Here's how she looks at the minute, last day with me
