righty, unusual one this, on the 16V's theres meant to be a check valve in the bottom hose. Now I have looked at 3, the plastic valve body is there but theres no sign of a spring and ball bearing.
What I am wanting to know is, does anyone have the cball and spring or did they not come with them liek they were supposed to?
Its on the small hose btw from the lower rad hose to the aux water pump. |

well I have found a suitable ball bearing. I swapped project Y's wheel bearing the other day and the old one is lying around, the balls from it are the right size.
need to sacrifice a pen now for the spring! |

not had it on any of my last 3 valvers
dunno about the 1st one i had as i never had to take that one to bits lol |
