hey guys well as much as im enjoyin my 19 i had the pleasure of being smoked by a done up saxo vtr how he dunn it i wont know but he just kept pulling away i only ad the advantage of gettin past him a shape bend which i know chamades will take at 75-85mph which is wat i was doin but he still managed 2 get ahead aint got a clue y tho, who else has been smoked by 1

I had trouble with one when I had a faulty throttle position sensor and I couldn't rev above 4,500rpm. But now I can rev all the way I've never had a problem with one. You say 'done up' tho, so I spoze he could have had anything in it in theory! Different engine, NOS......who knows. I mean look at chet's turbo 19. Bet some people might be slightly confused at being creamed by a 19 that they think is 'normal'.

Were you revvin urs all the way?

lol my old 1.4 would have the vtr's and the 16v laughs at the vts's.

Theres a fair few supercharged.turbo'd vtr's out there though.

My mate has a VTR Saxo and he has the pleasure of leaving me behind my 1.4 just can't touch it whatsoever! Does me' noodle in!

That will change after this weekend tho' because I will of course have the Clio!

might have been a vts with vtr badges on, ive seen it done, same on cliosport some of the 2 litre guys have 1.2 badges on, haha.

Ben you'll have that VTR in the bend's no need for the clio. It's them 17's that killing your speed

i took on antha saxo2da was def a vts coz i kno the fool m i smoked him really badly so the sax the othewr day must had a bit done 2 it

where in crawley are you managing to do this!? or are you going down by gatwick? as near currys, alleid carpets etc there was speed camera's when i was there, does the gatwick straight have speed camera's there now?on the a23 coming to/from horley?

exactly, ben get a set of 13's on the 19 and it will fly in comparision to the 17's!

nah its going back 2wrds cheals roundabout m8 ur rite there are cmeras on the 23 but they not speed cams only if u jump lights they flash thts all matey

ah right, i remember that stretch now, suprised they havent gatso'd that there, they'd done just about every other good stretch when i was there

i used to live on the A23 in salfords, just out of horley, near the maccy drive thru thats opposite a chip shop.

You won't got back to 17's. It will drive so much better. Sell the 17's get some 13's R5 wheels for the 19. and some 15" tyres for the Clio.
