there is a clearish/green plug in front of the gearbox ,just under the clutch cable ,unscrew the fecker by hand /pliers/ask help from superman etc
and strick your little finger in there ,pointing the tip of the finger down a few mm s you shall be able to touch the oil, if not top it up(do this when the car is cold mind) alternatively ,drain it and put brand spanking new oil in .
it is not as rude as it sounds by the way ,fingers and all |

Or even simpler than that, once you've got the screw undone gear oil should trickle out the front, if it doesn't, or the screw threads are dry, top it up. The screw acts as both a plug and a level-check. |
