Hi, another maybe dumb question. What is a Remote sensor and Key Fob, and what does it do?

Used to activate the central locking, remote sensor is located inside the car on the roof, and the key fob is obviously the key itself!
Point the key at the sensor once out the car and plip it to lock/unlock at your leisure. |

Cheers.have the sensor but no fob. There is a set on ebay?

you will need to have the new fob programed to match the sensor though,
it may cost a bit . |

Won't work! The infra-red sensor and key are a matched pair, can't reprogramme them! |

ie, the sensor and the fob. Reprogramming anything doesnt come into it. |

its like taking your telly to a telly shop and getting them to reprogramme a remote from another tv to yours, not gonna happen! |
