I have a dodgy rear wiper mechanism. for instance, this morning when i went to wipe the water off my rear screen, it blatantly refused to move. push further and the washer jet does its thing, but the wiper arm still sits there. its been doing this for a few weeks now. so anyway, i get ready to leave work tonight at around 5pm, and out of curiosity i decide to give the rear wiper a try...and blow me it bloody moved!!
...EH?!
cheers

I had this. I had the cables out from the top right corner of the boot lid. Couldn't find any probs, so twisted them about a bit and it's been working since *Knocks on wood*
Am guessing it's a break in a cable somewhere from the boot opening and shutting. |

My rear windscreen de-mist'er went out with a broken wire.
You need to splice in some new wire.
You have to play with it a bit to get the wires into the rubber tube, and sitting right when the boot closes.
Thats for a Phase 2, As Phase 1 cars had contact pins I belive. |
