A.C.. is now running again. Dodgy connection in the main fuse box was causing a low voltage to the relays for the power steering and A.C.. Sounds simple but with relays all over the place, spaghetti wiring, no wiring diagram for the electric power steering, but a small one for the A.C. in a French workshop Manuel, not so easy.
Still it makes the car feel funny, robs power, but when you’re stuck in traffic and its 30+ °C out there its nice.
And the car was booked into Renault on the 15 September, so Im happy to have fixed it before the end of the hot weather. And saved some money.
Great car though, lets keep em running.

nah, the AC pump goes where the PS pump does on our non-AC cars, which means they run the PS electrically instead. |
