My phase 2 16v has overcome a problem which i cant work out which on most cases im normally good at. The problem is bout a week ago i let my car run out of petrol  ever since when i start it up from cold just as the temp gauge reaches the 2nd line on the gauge upto like the 1/4 line it seems as though there is no petrol getting through properly i filled her up put cleaner stuff in no joy!! the put optimax in no joy so i thought it must have something to do with the cold start injecter (the one under the inlet manifold) still doing it any suggestions would be most helpful |

Could it be a blockage from some crap that's come out of the bottom of the tank? |

i forgot to say when the temp reaches normal temp it runs fine  |

well if the car runs fine when its up to temp it will nto be a fuel blockage etc. Its a temperature problem, most likely the coolant temp sender. |
