Debating weather to fufil a dream and carry on saving for a Clio 16v or turn my current 5dr RT into a sleeper, with either some headwork, chip and TB aswel as my other mods and have a quick 1.4 then maybe leather interior etc as the bodywork is mint, but then a Clio 16v looks so lush
Gash, help me peeps |

Clio 16V.
Reasons:
Is faster than 1.4
Stops quicker
Goes around corners better - Suspension wider & lower & harder
Looks better
Could be the same to insure if you declare the modifications
A better base to build on when you decide that it isn't quick enough
No one will want to buy your 1.4 after it is modified
Most of the money spent modifying will be lost
Running costs will be simular
If the 1.4 is tuned to 137 hp it will not last as long as the 16V
If the 1.4 is not correctly modified (suspension, brakes) to cope with the extra power then it probably end up in a hedge somewhere... |
