well they are not suitable for a 1.4 then are they? Only the td, rsi and 16V have vented discs. |

Ah, sorry, didn't know that. I've got a set of vented TD discs I was gonna put on. I take it the discs are the same on the 1.4 regardless of the caliper? |

nope, disc thickness is larger on a vented application. |

yes the discs are the same on the 1.4's regardless if its a girling or bendix. |

Right, so if i want to use the TD discs, I need some lucas calipers off either a 1.9TD or a 1.8 8v? |

Got access to some calipers off a 1.8 8v Clio, they are vented 139mm discs, same set-up as the R5 GTT IIRC |
