I am wondering if any of you have ever found/heard of 45/60mm lowering springs for a 1.4 19?
There are plenty for a 16v, I assume they wont go on mine. 
Would there be anyway of dropping the front of the car maybe 45/50mm?
I know you can cut the springs, but I don't like the sound of that. |

Aye, your best off first swapping to front R19 16v front struts which automatically takes you about 30mm lower then standard R19 and then if you so desire you can then go down 40mm from there.

Well, a scrappie or anything for std 16v setup. I think you'll notice an improvement with just that (I know I did on my 1.4) and then just level out the torsion bar and your onto a winner.

Well mine is on 17's and dropped on it's ass anyway.
The front needs to come down about 20mm though, even though it has 35mm drop on the front already.
Is it a straight swap? Will it be ok with my 1.4 steering crap etc (I am fecking usless with cars)?

You can get -60mm Ventura springs for your 1.4 from Need for Speed matey.

Well I have 17's aswell, which wont be there for long as they weight a ton.
I am going to go for some 16's OZ superleggera's and drop the fron 60mm.
I don't drive fast anyway so it should be fine, main reason being it doesnt go fast and I look like a twat and it ruins the car.

16" tyres cost a fortune though, better stick to 15s or go right up to 17s |

I think it partialy depends on the profile of ur tyres. 17" wheels with 35-40 profile compared to 15" wheels with 50-55 profile so should sit fairly similar. |
