in the day i can just about see the digi part of thr dash and at night i see nothing at all, so i removed the instument panel to have a look why there was no light and one of the bulbs has blown but the other one is ok, i tried to put diffrent bulbs form the same panel but it still doesn't work, anyone got any ideas why

theres 2 types of bulb holder, you used the wrong one. |

i took the 2 bulbs out from the place marked with a red circle and replaced them with the same type of bulb still no joy

black ones in there to start with, so i replaced them with black ones, i dont see any grey ones anywhere |

right ok, theres 2 types of black ones, you said 1 bulb is ok but not lighting up originally, thats the wrongs bulb holder.
The difference is in the metal tags.
Anyway if you have the right ones in then turn it back slightly so its not fully turned, that gets em working on a fresh bit of the pcb. |

ok, to test this will i have to reconnect all the wiring backup to the panel or can i get away with just the green plug.

yep, i ended up using the bulb that shows the ABS, since this car doesnt have asb i have no use for it, now its just the rack, i wish this guy would hurry up |

Mmm, i'll need to pull my finger out and get my bulb's replaced, iv been shining a torch on the display for nearly a year |
