wow, they bite if provoked. (wolf spider)
also they dont spin webs but hunt for food.
wish i kept it now.
not to common either, and confused with the house spider
i thought it was looking a bit big to be something usual
edit
must of been a female, as they are the bigger ones, also have a bigger head too. |

I couldn't care less weather or not it tries to bite. It's gonna feel the sole of my shoe before it gets anywhere near me. I can deal with spiders in the zoo n that, tarantulas aint a problem, put a little one on the floor and I'll be searchin for the heaviest/closest object. |

If I see a spider in my room I get horrible visons of being asleep while it crawls over my face........
Hence the shoe/brute force approach, I'm not happy till the things ground into the carpet! |

only problem with spiders is they are spiteful.
You put them outside and they just run back towards the house etc! |

I was on holiday in Fuertaventura last week and 2 feckin huge cockroches came in the apartment at night, i swear i could have put a saddle on them and rode the things round the village, they where huuuuuuge, i shit myself i did, and you've got no way of catching them, they are lightning fast, but i was even quicker when it started running towards me |

thats an absolutely correct observation
thats how friendly they are ,they get attached to the first person that picks them up |
