I fear the fuel pump on the chammy is goin tits up.
Sometimes its extremely noisy and other times it quiet as a mouse, why would that be? Doesn't make a difference whether theres lots of fuel in or not. If its noisy and i turn the car off and on again it will be fine
Also when the fuel went down to 2.5 gallonsish it started to hesitate at high revs, i put that down to the pump and put 20 quid in and its been fine.
Just a bit confused as to why it would be noisy sometimes only |

crap getting in the way of the filter at the base of the pump, it killed my blue chammys pump.
It was noisy due to rust flakes on the filter, it was straining to pump it through, saw that remove the flakes tried it again a lot quieter but the damage was done so I stuck the hatches pump in.
Turning the car off will allow the crap to float away as will chuck in more fuel to flush the debris away from the intake. |

pull the pump out and you will probably see some stuck to it.
If the bit at the intake is sucked in then its deffo the problem. |
